Kuff Lynx is a dj, a lighting designer and a provider of production planning and services for weddings and other events also known as Ethan Kiermaier.
I believe in the transformative power of a good party. Parties bring people closer. Parties can change your life. For years I've been DJing and producing odd and uplifting events for people who believe a celebration should come with a touch of transcendence and stay a living memory.
I provide out of the box lighting solutions, packed dance floors, solid advice and the best sorts of surprises. It is a real honor to be a part of so many intimate moments and many of my clients have become my friends and community. Let's work together to make something magic happen....
"Wow, is all we have to say. Ethan, took our wedding to a whole new level. He took our taste in music and amplified it in a way that was so spot on and kept our friends and family dancing until everyone literally yelled for an encore. I remember him saying with a smile, "I'd keep playing yet I think we have to be out of here by midnight." Beyond his amazing performance and light show, his level of professionalism was fantastic and he was incredibly organized and helpful. If you're looking for your dance floor to be packed and yelling for more, Kuff Lynx is your man!"
-Silas Haggerty, Portland ME
"Ethan enabled our wedding to move into the evening built on the solid foundation of his steady planning and masterful delivery. We met Ethan on a warm summer day a month and a half before our wedding. He showed no concerns learning that we lacked a planner to orchestrate the evening for our nearly two hundred guests. Instead he told us of his sliding fee and that he’d be able to rig us a light show, even offering to mic our ceremony. Before the night was out we knew we’d lucked out as our moms kept pace with the dancers on the floor heading towards the small hours of morning."

"You have become a LEGEND. Best wedding DJ, best dance party, ever. I also wanted to pass along that everyone commented on you, from the oldest aunts to all our friends. They'd say things like, "so, how long have you been friends with the DJ?" and were alway surprised when I'd say we just met. They'd say, "He seemed like one of your crowd! I figured you were old friends!"
Also, your blue suit? Amazing."
Melina Coogan, Queechee VT
"I left music TOTALLY up to Ethan knowing that after chatting with him about the kind of flavor I wanted for the dancing he would pick all the right stuff and honeslty knows way more about music than I do so he'd be guaranteed to select things i didnt even know I wanted to hear! My friends and family love to dance and he kept the perfect flow, mixing in the occasional kareoke request untill the evening finally digressed into full kareoke untill the wee hours of late night/morn. My Mom said to me that night at 1:30am that she had never had so much fun dancing in her whole life!!!! That alone was worth hiring him for!"

Kuff Lynx is available for work from Maine to New Jersey and sometimes farther afield, I am always up for adventure... Though I frequently work alone, I have an extensive network of artists and collaborators I can draw on in order to provide production services for larger events including photographers, production assistants, photo-booths and event planners.
Here's a short sample of a wedding friendly mix tape. Many of my sets tend toward eclectic and global music with a healthy dose of pop standards. Every event is different and I love working with the tastes of each client to craft a unique experience. Let's do this together...
In addition to my work as a DJ and event producer I have been many things including a cabinet maker, teacher, fabricator, professor of video and photography, and a fine artist working in video, performance and installation. I bring the sensibilities of these trades and passions to my event work to create immersive experiences whether I'm responsible for the evenings music or the entire look/feel of a space. Get in touch and we'll talk about all of the possibilities...
